Two Kay Oh Nine. The number nine is there every time I look.
Oh Nine - Some say 2009 is the year of change. For computer users this might mean the freedom of 'cloud computing'. An example of cloud computing are Google Apps. These applications hold your documents, calendars, spreadsheets and raw files online instead of on your PC. We'll have to see how accepted this becomes, but it seems to be replacing Office in some small way; if not becoming it's online hosted companion.
Nine North Main, Souderton - Our new home in 2009 is cause for a lot of excitement. We don't have millions in profit to blow on glass staircases or 101" LCDs. However we are working hard to make your customer service experience the best it can be from Day One. We're keeping the Dubble Bubble in the lobby, but a lot of cosmetic changes are afoot. Main and Broad! Thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.
NINE new CMSes - We're researching not just Joomla and Drupal anymore. I imagine we'll be using mostly Joomla as we always have due to its award-winning ease of use. But recent improvements have made the field of Content Management Systems hard to ignore. For YOU the customer, this will mean easier editing of your site and less cost.
If your website provider uses only one CMS system; or worse yet has 'invented' a CMS, beware. You pay for this research and development, bug fixing and support. Their CMS was created with ten or so developers (or less) and debugged with a small focus group. Sitecats uses open source software created by hundreds and tested by tens of thousands of people. When problems arise, solutions are just a forum post away because many users have already experienced the same issue.
Yet Another Headache for the Competition in '09 - If nine new programs hasn't made our colleagues nauseous, Sitecats has a secret that will blow your mind in 2009. It's so top secret that you'll have to come in and find out what it is before the February press release.
Relax, you've got Sitecats in '09 and we're getting better every year. Because nobody tries harder to provide powerful websites at a fair cost to you!

Some friends of ours are offering $299 websites. And by golly they mean it! Ten beautiful templates! Buy now and they'll wave the $299!!!
Just a few dollars per day!! Whoa. Say what homey?? Over a thousand dollars per year?!
As I will always retain the title of King Debunker of the Indian Valley, here's the short on this:
- Sitecats has hundreds of templates.
- '299 Mania' has 10.
- Year One we're the same price (they must be researching us - cool!). By year three their cost is TRIPLE.
They do put shiny edges and shadows on things. Oh wait a sec, so do we. But our templates work in the most browsers (built in feature).
- Sitecats content management uses Joomla, the world's most popular and award winning open source CMS. The code has been improved with the brains of thousands of coders.
- '299 Mania' uses some mystical private CMS that you must lease, and I assume was created by the '299 Mania' staff.
$299.00 just sounds too good to be true - because it is. Come find out more at our new Main and Broad Street location or call us at 215-723-7050.
299. Only the audacity is amazing!

Here's our freshly painted new home at 9 North Main Street. We're very excited about our new and dignified digs.
It's been wild the past month! The mayor gave us the thumbs-up, key to the city and borough council gave us a standing ovation. The bank across the street gave us a private entrance and jet. The chamber has begged me to give the next presentation at their monthly get-together, and ....
... none of that is true. The cat logos are photoshop. But we love our neighbors anyway. What a great town, and now Sitecats is in one of the most historic and best located buildings in town.
You get me choked up, Souderton. Thank you to everyone who keeps Sitecats the coolest business in town.
John Ralston
PS: Relax Souderton. Our new signage will be appropriate for the area. I promise.

After the tenth email about the same subject I usually send a bulletin to the website, explaining the issue to the masses. Today I can confirm that yes, I did total some tea for a recent magazine article at the bequest of a friend and fellow Souderton business owner. See the article in Town & Country Magazine
Congrats to Trish Stubbs of Tilly Mints Tea Room on her fantastic tea room and gift shop. I'll admit that I'm overwhelmed with the charm and her attention to detail in every facet of the experience. The twinkle in her eye reveals just how much she loves and enjoys what she provides. An authentic and unique English tea room in Souderton. |

It's a typical scenario. And it's not your fault that this has been the evolution of the internet. Let Sitecats make your site work for YOU with manageable content and powerful data-driven applications. Is this your experience? FIRST STOP: "I know this kid..." You had a family member or friend make you a website, but that clearly didn't represent your business professionally. SECOND STOP: "We hired a web guy..." You got a semi-pro to make you a static site that you can't update without him. Updates take too long and you get a bill for every minor change. And what's worse: he only does this after his day job, or on the weekends. LAST STOP: Sitecats. Now you can edit images and text, add new products anytime, anywhere - without calling anyone. Sitecats has the satisfied clients to prove it.

It's time for change America! Or... at least it's time for me to let you know the secrets of traditional web developers. Unlike Sitecats, they want you to email them every time you need a website change. Typically this means they're going to have to schedule that. And you wait. And wait... You're delighted when the change is done.. until you get the bill, right? Look. Sitecats makes EVERY site with Joomla content management software, allowing you to easily create/add content to your site easily and fast without having to call or email ANYONE! We're making 2-3 sites per week, so find out why people from Bux-mont to Boston have to have a Sitecats site. Contact us and we'll give you a shout ASAP. And if you're local we might even stop by your office. How groovy is that?
