 On March 5, 2008, the National Stock Car Racing Commission heard and considered the appeal of Robby Gordon Motorsports regarding the #7 car. The appeal concerned three penalties issued by NASCAR following opening day inspection on February 8, 2008 for the Sprint Cup Series event at Daytona International Speedway. The Commission believes that the facts presented during the hearing represented an extraordinary and unusual set of circumstances and removed the points penalty and reinstated the crew chief.

 So you say you picked Carl Edwards and you think the points shouldn't be taken. I would have to agree with you but, until the team files an appeal and the National Stock Car Racing Comm. over-turns this current penalty by NASCAR, we are out of luck folks. I have posted the official press release from NASCAR and they docked Carl Edwards 100 points. This is by far and away the largest penalty any JNFL Team Owner has ever had to face.

 On February 22nd my new wife June and I took off to California for our honeymoon. The trip out was one heck of a long day - 23 hours to be exact. But I can't hold that against Nascar so I will keep that info to a minimum in here. This website is for fans of racing so I will try and concentrate on our time at the track.

 Carl Edwards Wins California!
Congrats to all who picked him...There were a bunch of you. For those of you wondering when the standings will be done...Before next weeks race at Las Vegas for sure. We do apologize for the inconvenience, but never-the-less they will be done ASAP. We are still awaiting official results from NASCAR as well as the fact that Judd and June are on their Honeymoon yet and shall arrive back at the end of this week.
While we have the means to update this site abroad, our Happy Duo is still in much need of R&R and have had some set backs in their travel plans from the track at California due to the great weather as we all know. Last word from the Prez was, " I am trying to find the time but it just seems there isnt enough!...lol. If I could find a computer!"

HAMPTON, Ga. -- Jack Roush is ready to take a polygraph exam to prove there was no intent or knowledge that his No. 99 team tried to cheat last week at Las Vegas. The owner of Roush Fenway Racing was visually upset Friday that his driver, Carl Edwards and crew chief, Bob Osborne, were accused of purposely rigging an oil cap to come loose during last Sunday's UAW-Dodge 400, which Edwards won. In post-race inspection, NASCAR discovered the oil cap was missing. JAck Roush gave a statement during a press conference on Friday.
