Looks like we are all set now. I have updated the 1st Place page and the Basement page. We have a couple new poll's to have a go at. Please feel free to be honest with these two, I will be spending some time with the co-creators this weekend for some upgrades. It is amazing to see that we have a new leader in each league following Watkins Glen and we have a new player in last place in the adult league. Funny how Ray Ray actually went to the trouble to send me a picture of himself then picked the winner and moved past someone in the standings. The leaders of both leagues have the exact same point total headed to Michigan, pretty cool huh? Hope you all are having fun, I am. We are really looking forward to Bristol.
On a side note I would like to say you stink Jeff Gordon. I expect better from a supposed 4-time champion. I certainly have seen you do better on a number of occasions. Although I did pick you a few years back at Darlington and you were in the lead comfortably with 20 to go and just crashed into the wall because you were day dreaming. Thanks for the quote 'Sorry guys, I blew that big time,' really leaves me feeling better. I now officially re-dislike you even more than before Dale Jr. signed with Hendrick. I am going to boo you like no tomorrow when I get to Tennessee in two weeks. Jerk.

Sunday Morning: Time for a little more road-racing. We have beautiful weather here all weekend but on Friday there was rain in New York and it washed out qualifying. That meant that the field would be detirmined by owner's points. I noticed we have another new driver making a start with Patrick Carpentier and I see that Bill Elliott decided to let Boris Said drive his Wood Brother's #21 when Boris did not make the race in his other ride. Good luck with your picks all, hopefully we will see you at the front.

Monday Afternoon: The race results are now official for Pocono and there were a couple changes. It looks like Martin Truex Jr. and Greg Biffle swapped positions down in 23rd and 24th place. Pretty cool race, unless you were actually there. It was hot here, I can only imagine how hot it was out there in the infield.
We will be doing some backend work on the website to install the portion that works the 'Chase' scoring format into the system. You probably won't see a difference on the outside. Actually, there will be very little change to the site all week. Please understand it is not from a lack of effort. Thanks.
Sunday Morning: I just found out that Robby Gordon has been suspended by Nascar for his actions in the Busch race yesterday in Canada. I have just seen the highlights and I am still laughing. Having a little trouble typing actually. What an idiot! Anyway, there is now a star next to Robby Gordon and P.J. Jones is now in the car.
I am currently having trouble getting a picture up on the page here, see if I can get it fixed here shortly.
Saturday Night: This has already been one heck of a weekend personally. If the race is anything like the giant pool tournament we just played in, it should be one heck of a race. A whole bunch of us JNFL members play on a team together and we made a real nice run at the 9-ball title. Alas it was not to be but that means I will be here at the JNFL Headquarters like always for the race. Special thanks to the First Mother for saying she would cover.
I just finished updating the stars (*) next to the drivers name to show who is in the race this week. Looks like Michael Waltrip is back behind the wheel and was fast enough to qualify his car, so Terry Labonte is back on the shelf. Looks like their was also some weather in the air for time trials and my boy Dale Earnhardt Jr. will start first. Go Dale!
Good luck everyone.

Sunday Morning Update: I just got the stars (*) updated next to the drivers names that missed the race at Indy. Looks like Scott Wimmer will be making his first start in a Cup race this year. The rain has made a mess of the weekend schedule. It dried up enough to let the boys practice once in the afternoon for like two or two and a half hours. Then they qualified for what seemed like forever. Low and behold Reed Sorenson led at the end of both sessions and will start 1st today when they drop the rag.
Friday: It looks like it rained all day out there in Indiana so the two practices that were scheduled have been canceled. Now they are going to run one at 8:30am Saturday morning. Qualifying is supposed to be at 10am tomorrow and then there are two more practices scheduled. I am no weatherman but I have heard reports of rain with lightning and stuff here all weekend. I wonder if it is the same stuff?
The week off was nice for me personally, I have stopped smoking, this is day 19. I think it is going well but I have had my moments. Personally I feel a lot better and encourage all of you out there in the JNFL nation to give it a try if you do smoke. I expected it to be harder and it is not so bad after all. I feel great! Saving a fortune as well.
I have been receiving reports from all sections of the standings on how people are doing this year and if they are having fun. Of particular note lately I have heard that rookie Jay Weid is having a heck of a time keeping himself out of the basement. He does not want to ride the toilet at the Banquet! We also have been blessed with yet another artifact to be offered up as a sacrafice at the Fantasy Banquet. This hat will burn probably about as well as it's driver runs on the track - I will fill my Zippo accordingly (thanks Canute).
Good luck to everyone with your picks for the Brickyard, see you at the front.

The starting line-up is set for this weekends race at Chicagoland, or as I like to call it - Chicago. Yet to understand the whole 'land' thing but anywho, the stars (*) next to the driver's names are updated. There are a couple practices scheduled for Saturday, I have updated the links in advance. If and when the practices are finished, the links should work.
This is your last chance to change your Back-up Driver if you have not already done so. Once the race at Chicago starts I will flip the switch and you will not be allowed to change your BUD for the rest of the season. Take a second to login and goto 'Your Page' and click on the drop-down box located in your profile pertaining to the BUD, choose who you want and click 'SAVE' (just like making a pick).
Is it me or have I been putting up a lot of pictures of Jeff Gordon doing a burnout? Either he won the race last year or wins the race this year. Whats up with that?
I have updated the 1st Place and Basement pages through Daytona. You can also see some of the final standings from seasons before this on the 'JNFL Past Results' link. A little tough to build that page but I will see if I can get it finished here soon. Anybody got a good poll question?
