rogue.jpgMarch 15, 2008 - The sport of NASCAR racing has long been a dictatorship and the current driver pool is fed up with the strong-arm tactics of the bullies in the sanctioning body at the front office in NASCAR. It has gone unspoken for many years now since the last time someone tried to organize the drivers in this sport, but since the tire issues last week and the strong words and criticisms presented by some of the sports top stars of today, the suggestion of something to help aid the drivers in communicating with NASCAR needs to be put in place and Robin Pemberton isn’t it.

April 3, 2004 - If you are the kind of person who follows the rules, then you usually know what they are. That is not the case in NASCAR racing. It is tough for the teams to know what rules they might be breaking because there is no clear-cut rulebook for them to follow. They have rules and regulations books for the cars but as for competition rules in NASCAR you have to follow the NASCAR alphabet.

March 17, 2004 - When you think of Darlington Raceway, history and prestige always rank up on the top of the list. Since 1957 this infamous raceway has hosted a spring race that has left fans in awe when some of NASCAR’s best drivers where able to tame the “Lady In Black.”

france_sleep.jpgJanuary 21, 2004 - It is not hard to believe that after all these years NASCAR is looking to do something different. It is also not hard to believe that everyone was totally against the changes that were talked about before the official press conference on Tuesday morning. I for one was totally opposed to NASCAR making any changes, but after hearing the official explanation by Mike Helton and Brian France, my mind was put at ease somewhat. I don’t think what they are proposing is all that bad of an idea.

September 25,2003 - Talladega has got to be one of the most exciting places for a racer to drive. It is one of my personal favorites. The speed and competition are the reason fans come to this track and it is arguably the biggest, fastest, most competitive racetrack in the world. I am a bit worried though. It seems every time NASCAR changes the aero package for superspeedways someone either gets really hurt or worse.
