Monday:  Nothing major to announce but I did notice that Michael Waltrip lost 5 points upon the results becoming official.  Hey, did that race run late or am I getting old?  There was no chance I was making it to the end of that sucker.  Looks like a shame for me, the finish looked like a real exciting race.  The wrong guy won but whatever.  Just waiting for next year when Dale Jr. goes on a 36 race winning streak.  As for this year we have 5 races left.  Are you going to win the JNFL Championship? 

Saturday morning:  Getting ready here for the Charlotte race tonight.  I personally love this race.  Humpy Wheeler always puts on a great show and the track is perfect for high-speed racing side by side all night long.  The starting line-up was set Thursday night and the stars (*) next to their names is now updated here at JNFL.net.  If you are making a pick for the race and see an asterick next to their name, that means they are not in the race.  I noticed that Ricky Rudd is back from his collarbone injury along with Mark Martin.  Dale Jarrett made news this week that he wil only run a limited schedule in 2008.  Sounds just like this year to me as he missed making the Charlotte race.

Personally been working a lot of hours this past month which has made my evenings real short.  I forgot to update the 1st Place and Basement pages and I am sorry for that.  Jay Weed has earned the right to be recognized.  Lets see if we can't get that fixed here real soon.  Gotta finish up the banquet tickets as well.  Till then, good luck with your Charlotte picks!
