JNFL,

I regret to inform you that there is a small glitch in the scoring system.  The new system we are using to keep score for the league I think is doing a most excellent job, yet for whatever reason, after the race was over, the computer would randomly grab someone and give them double points.  We thought we had a handle on the problem but apparently not.  You may notice, depending on when you read this, that Leo Holmes made a real nice move up through the standing.  His score is incorrect and will be fixed here shortly.

I just got off the phone with Greg and he knows why it is doing it.  I will spare you all the details as I am sure to botch them, but basically he thinks that when a person puts their pick in over the net, if I should happen to randomly click on their name while I am entering in picks I take over the phone, when I hit 'Save' it will enter in a pick for the player a second time.  Computers do the strangest things sometimes, keeps us on our toes.  It is the little things though, so I am very excited about how it works and our ability to generate tons of fun down the road with a reliable, cool program all our own.

For now, please understand that we will do a complete scan over the picks to make sure nobody got a freebie.  Special thanks to our JNFL Members that spotted the glitch and reported it to the JNFL Headquarters.  With a staff like this Leo Holmes - you never stood a chance!  You are all the best, thanks and please continue to ask questions, the make a difference.
