In 2007, the Bennett Lane Winery team claimed its first NASCAR Grand National Division West Series Championship with driver Mike David behind wheel of the #2 Bennett Lane Winery Ford. At the 'Bennett Lane Winery 200', fans can look forward to the return of the Maximus car, a black Ford Fusion named for Bennett Lane's signature red wine blend, Maximus--a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The Maximus car will return for second chance at victory on June 21st with NASCAR legend Parnelli Jones' son, P.J. Jones, in the driver's seat. "Team Maximus" is led by Randy's wife, Lisa Lynch, who created a light-hearted family rivalry with the debut of the #24 Maximus car at the Infineon raceway in 2007. "Our family thrives on competition," says Lisa. "And once fans get a taste of Maximus, there's no doubt who they'll be rooting for," she says.
