Wow!  What a great Daytona 500.  Thrills and spills a plenty.  The JNFL Headquarters was quite the action packed place all day as well.  I want to thank everyone in the JNFL for calling in their picks on late notice.  We noticed a glitch in the code for the website and feared we could lose a pick.  Now that the season is started and all players are into the system, I am confident that we have nothing to worry about for the future races.

As for the race, the end was a mess.  With all those cars crashing at the end the results posted last night have changed a good bit today as they have become official.  Mostly just a couple positions for the drivers in that overtime pile-up.  I also have gone in and deducted the points from Kahne, Sadler, Riggs and Waltrip for their infractions that incurred point-fines of 25, 50 and 100 points.  Please note that Matt Kenseth appears to be protesting his penalty.  Because you are guilty until proven innocent in Nascar I have deducted 50 points from Kenseth's total now - pending the outcome of his appeal.  (Note:  At the time of this post Nascar was showing Kenseth with just 82 points, it should say 87).

In a while here I will anounce exactly what the number of players in the JNFL are and detirmine from that how many players will make the JNFL Championship - stay tuned!
