We thought it wouyld be cool to have a 'Hot' zone built into the website kind of like Nascar has when the pits are closed to the public.  The end result is a stop-light looking system.  When you have plenty of time to make your pick the green light will be showing.  As the race draws near and I can see the start is going to happen inside of 30-40 minutes the light will turn to yellow.  When the green flag drops to start the race the light will turn to red.  This means that the database will no longer accept picks for the race.  All of these steps are done manually at the JNFL Headquarters and are for special effects mostly.  You must refresh your browser in order to see any light changes but I would like to change that.  When the weather at the track is poor Nascar may push up the start of the race or delay it, if I know it I can post the information below the light.  All attempts to guess in advance the exact time a race will start are just that - guesses.  Use for referance only.
