Friday Update:  We are finalizing the details now for the Poker Tourney.  People have been letting me know that they are coming.  Are you coming?  I would like to have a good idea of how many people to expect, so please, if you are coming, give me a call or shoot me a quick e-mail.  Tomorrow we are going to pre-sort the chips so we can get started right at 1pm on Sunday.  If you are not sure how to get to the Indian Valley Inn I would have to ask, 'how did you get into this league?"

Poker Tourney Notes:  The 2007 JNFL Poker Tournament will be held this Sunday, October 28th.  It is open only to JNFL Members.  The location will be the Indian Valley Inn.  This is the same day that the Atlanta race is scheduled.  The I.V. kicks the doors open at noon so if you want to play we will be starting at 1pm.  It got to be a long night for the players that made it to the end last year so we will try to get going quickly.  My advice to you is don't show up early and don't be late.

  The 2008 version will be just like last year - very low stakes.  For us it will always be about the good time with friends playing the great game of poker.  The winner will receive a framed award at the Banquet and immediately be recognized by our large community as a person with said award (lol).  What the heck, just come on out to play, you'll have a great time.   The race will be on in the background so have no fear that you will miss one minute of action on the track.
